The pagination of the brochure allowed for one “Mainstage” play per page, and a combination of the two experimental plays (called “Studio” plays) onto a single page. This approach gave us the opportunity to present each play as a poster-within-a-brochure, allotting appropriate space to visually depict the individual stories and their tonality (not surprising, the Theatre is finding multiple uses for the overruns, posting single pages as posters in and around campus). To weave the plays together, we created a consistently applied visual diagram containing a play’s logo, synopsis, show dates, theatre location, and credit information. Posters, playbills, postcards, and advertisements were also created.
