Founded in 1905, ASA serves as an edu­ca­tional, research and sci­en­tific asso­ci­a­tion of physi­cians orga­nized to raise and main­tain the stan­dards of the med­ical prac­tice of anes­the­si­ol­ogy and improve the care of the patient.

Davis Design Partners designed this new web­site for .orgSource, a lead­ing Internet con­sult­ing firm assist­ing asso­ci­a­tions with web strat­egy, online mar­ket­ing, com­mu­ni­ca­tions and knowl­edge man­age­ment solu­tions. Much of the work that .orgSource com­pletes for its clients is done in the trenches—Post-It® Notes, pads of paper, and mark­ing pens in hand—as they research, learn and re-architecture one’s orga­ni­za­tion, direc­tion, and the pur­pose of the exist­ing con­tent, func­tion­al­ity and its accessibility.

The 65,000 mem­bers of the American Dietetic Association rely on the eatright​.org web­site for timely, trust­wor­thy and accu­rate infor­ma­tion 24÷7÷365. DDP designed a site built around clearly defined con­stituen­cies that facil­i­tated access to infor­ma­tion using a vari­ety of Web 2.0 user inter­face tech­nolo­gies. The result is a much more dense and feature-rich web­site that is acces­si­ble and friendly, while pur­pose­fully rein­forc­ing the ADA brand.

With a grow­ing mem­ber­ship of over 6,000, and an increas­ing need to stay com­pet­i­tive, ACFAS wanted to redesign a repo­si­tion both their brand and their over­all online pres­ence. DDP embraced what was already there—highly qual­i­fied sur­geons, intel­li­gent and ambi­tious stu­dents, and a pub­lic seek­ing the most accu­rate and use­ful foot and ankle infor­ma­tion available.

ISACA “Taking Governance Forward” Website

The IT Governance Institute (ITGI)—a non­profit, inde­pen­dent research arm of global mem­ber­ship asso­ci­a­tion ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association)—along with infor­ma­tion archi­tec­ture and design by DDP, launched Taking Governance Forward, a free online resource that pro­vides a dynamic way for peo­ple to learn the lat­est on gov­er­nance and join the debate on how to make it work for their organizations.

AIGA Design for Democracy “Get Out The Vote” Poster

For the 2008 elec­tion, AIGA con­tin­ued its Design for Democracy ini­tia­tive with twenty-four (24) new “Get Out The Vote” posters. DDP was hon­ored to have its “VOTE / VETO” sub­mis­sion selected from more than 240 sub­mis­sions as one of the final twenty-four. Our mes­sage was pow­er­ful, yet clear: a “Yes” vote can also be a “No” vote.
