This series of ten “trading” business cards was created to help promote a forthcoming reference book containing biographies of culinary heroes. The cards were randomly handed out to attendees at a large industry trade show, creating significant curiosity on the showroom floor for the impending project. Each business card illustrated a different culinary personality. Printed in only two colors, ten-up on one press sheet, this technique lowered the overall costs while increasing the number of unique cards.
