Western Reserve Academy Capital Campaign Materials

Western Reserve Academy engaged Davis Design Partners to devel­op, design and pro­duce all of its need­ed mate­ri­als for their $40 mil­lion cap­i­tal campaign—the largest in the school’s 182-year his­to­ry.

Bright col­ors on uncoat­ed paper and engag­ing full-col­or and black & white pho­tog­ra­phy reflect­ed the bright-mind­ed stu­dent body and for­ward-think­ing nature of the school. Directly stat­ed copy­writ­ing out­lines the rea­sons why this cam­paign is so impor­tant to the school, now and in the future.

The 7×9 inch forty-page book was designed to feel per­son­al and inti­mate when held, while also car­ry­ing the visu­al impact of the achieve­ments already attained by the school and its stu­dents and alum­ni. Organized by the campaign’s five pri­or­i­ties, the book aimed to clear­ly out­line the objec­tives of the cam­paign and describe how the funds raised would be allo­cat­ed so that recip­i­ents could make well-informed deci­sions about their dona­tions.

To con­tin­ue the visu­al voice of the cam­paign across all plat­forms, an abbre­vi­at­ed announce­ment brochure was cre­at­ed along with cam­paign sta­tionery, exhib­it dis­plays, a web site and oth­er pro­mo­tion­al items.
